How long do your candles burn?
Following proper candle care, our 12oz. candles burn for approximately 60+ hours and our 5oz. candles burn for approximately 25+ hours.
- Trim your cotton or wooden wick to 1/4" before relighting your candle, this will give a cleaner burn. You can use either wick trimmers or scissors.
- When you light your candle for the first time, it is important to let it burn for 2-3 hours and allow the melted wax pool to reach the edge of the container. This will ensure an even melt and prevent tunneling, as soy wax has "memory" and will follow this pattern for the following burns.
- Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Stop use when only 1/2" of wax remains in the container.
Are your candles vegan friendly?
Yes! We use American-grown soy wax, all natural fragrances infused with essential oils (which are never, ever tested on animals!), lead-free cotton wicks, natural soft crackling wooden wicks & no dyes!
What is soy wax?
Soy wax is derived from soybeans which is a non-toxic, biodegradable, carbon neutral & a renewable, sustainable resource. Due to soy wax's plant based nature, it will burn cleaner, cooler, slower and more evenly.
Why wooden wicks?
Wooden wicks provide a cleaner, longer burn than cotton wicks. Our wicks are 100% made of wood, which means they are eco-friendly, nontoxic, and phthalate free. They also have a distinct crackling sound when burning, and a generally more calming and appealing aspect.
What is your processing time?
We make each candle to order. Please allow 5-7 days for your order to ship.
What is your return & exchange policy?
Unfortunately, due to the handmade nature of our candles no returns or exchanges are accepted — If there is an issue with your product, please contact us within 7 business days of receiving your item at grayrosecandleco@gmail.com.
What if my candles arrive broken?
Please know we try our best to package candles safely, however, shipping isn't the easiest on our fragile candles. Please email us at grayrosecandleco@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of your broken candle, and we will get a replacement shipped out asap for you.
